My name is Alexa Young
Inspired by a set of 16 (10) foot long nearly 200 year old antique church pews. I decided I was either completely crazy to bring them all home with me, or that maybe it was the start of a something lovely.
After starting my blog French Country Cottage in 2010, I began dabbling with working as a creator and photographer and stylist for editorial features in magazines, as well as with digital and brand collaborations.
With each of the projects I did for my clients, I found myself dreaming up visions for curating a background or perfect setting and started collecting beautiful antique pieces of furniture, tabletop elements and architectural salvage to use in them.
Enter those old rustic church pews and the project that started Wren & Reverie. After hearing about so many requests for traditional pews for weddings, I decided to offer them for rentals as well and they have become a favorite for events all over Northern California.
We have since started adding other curated favorites to our always growing selection for events, weddings, and photography rentals and we would love to help you create a magic filled setting for your occasion.
